Activities: Our Annual Appreciation Days

Over the years, we have organised our Annual Appreciation Days (AAD) using a couple of different themes. Ideas of such themes were created as a result of teamwork amongst our teaching staff, admin staff and the management.

AAD started off in Stella's home in 2006. The main purpose of AAD was just an idea for all to come together amongst students and family, tutors and the management to know each other better. As a result, the birth of Christmas Party 2006 followed by Christmas Party 2007 were celebrated.

As the number of students grew bigger, there's not enough room to accomodate all of us and that's the result of Appreciation Day which was the first event organised out of Stella's home in 2009.

The first venue we selected in Brunei Darussalam was at "Mangrove Paradise Resort". The turn out was great and we had so much fun. The following year (2010), we had the Annual Appreciation Day (AAD) in a hotel's banquet room. The theme was "Black and White" with nice decoration done up by our team of teaching staff and administration staff. Everyone worked through the night to decorate the hall and it turned out brilliant.

The success of 2010's AAD encouraged and motivated us to continue our next venture, that is 2011's AAD - "COSPLAY 2011".

For those who are here reading this, be prepared with your best costume and join us in the fun this November. Do take note of our venue, date, time and admission fee. All students with JTS will have FREE admission to our AAD 2011. If you are bringing your parents, friends from schools, cousins, brothers and sisters who are not our registered students, they may have to pay an admission fee. Announcement will be made soon, so keep an eye over this site before November 2011. Prepare cosplay costume now as Participants in AAD must dress as per our theme. RSVP as seats are limited.
